How to measure
Measure the insert itself, corner to corner across the front, not the cover it is currently wearing. An old cover has usually stretched and will give you the wrong number.
Why you might size down
Take the cover one inch smaller than your insert if you want it to sit full and plump rather than flat. Take the same size if you prefer a looser, softer look.
Care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and hang to dry. Heat mats a plush pile and shrinks a woven cover, so skip the tumble dryer.
