  • Add height as she grows. Screw a second pole on top.

Description

Keeps the moss damp for you. Pack the mesh pole with wet sphagnum moss, set it in the pot and cover its base with soil, then fill the cup on top with water. Turn the valve to set how fast it drips into the moss. When your plant reaches the top, screw a second pole on.

How we measure

  • Length of a moss pole: from the top to the tip of the spike. The spike goes into the soil, so the part above the pot is shorter.
  • Diameter: straight across, at the widest point.
  • Pot size: across the top rim. A planter's own size is its width across the top.
  • Grow lights: the power in watts and the light color in kelvin, as the specification states them. We do not print an equivalent wattage.
  • Volume of a reservoir or a vessel: in fluid ounces and milliliters.

Units

US units first, metric in brackets, with a point as the decimal mark: 1.5 in (3.8 cm), 13.5 fl oz (400 ml).
